Church shooting

It’s Monday and over the weekend something bad happened. There was a church shooting.
Jim Adkisson started shooting at a Unitarian Universalist Church while kids were performing the play Annie. Adkisson was said to be frustrated with the lack of work and was opposed to the church liberal standards. Two people were killed during the shooting, including Greg McKendry, 60, usher of the church who was said to put his body in the way to protect the rest. The Unitarian universalist church is said to advocate rights for woman and gays.

This is sad on so many levels. Why? Just plain why? I don’t condole violence against each other but if you feel like killing someone, kill drug dealers, kill crooks kill anything that is harming the society. But no, these creeps , these losers go to churches ,they go to schools. Where people are just minding their own business trying to help others or trying to make something of themselves.

This calls for a reality check. I haven’t read the last time this happened in a European nation. A Latin nation as of a matter of fact . In a school or church? I think instead of talking about how his vacations went in the middle east or how nobody is paying attention to the other guy candidates should really focus on what they plan to do to keep this losers in order.

My condolences to the family of the victims.
As to the 7 who survived and are injured I wish them a speedy recovery.

Very sad indeed; I send along my prayers for those that died, and those recovering as well. And, for the soul of the shooter as well.

This, indeed, is a tragedy. There are no words I know that could adequately express the content of my heart. It’s my prayer that the Lord keep His hand upon those that are hurting…and remind them that He understands the “language” of tears.
